Golden Sierra Fellowship

THE GSF

Well this is where it all started, at least the rather spectacular name! Here you can see three Elders of The Clan proudly displaying the prize which they captured following the bloody Battle of Yellow Pages in the Year of Our Lord 1994. The Golden Sierra, which can be seen here, was prized above all others being the only one in living memory tamed from the wild in Somersetshire. Sadly, the Sierra escaped shortly after this photograph was taken and returned to the wild. Despite many subsequent hunting parties it has never been seen again and it is likely it has passed to the other side. Whilst Golden Sierra's can still occasionally be seen grazing the pastures of many of Englands grey and pleasant motorways, all have been bred in captivity and sadly do not possess the grandeur of this specimen. If you do know of the whereabouts of this fine specimen do contact one of the Elders.

Our 1st TimeHere we can see the group photo taken of our first foray in to the wilds of North Wales. From left to right we can Jolyon (nice legs!), Bally (do you need a wee wee?), Pathfinder (kneeling, having fallen down, it's age you know) Neesom (details to follow), Limpet (holding on for support - well it is very high up you know), T.A (the least said very much the better) and last and least The Boy (hmmm, sexy top). At this time the group had no name and was just an amoebic collection of lads in the sea of togetherness, a single cell with no identity.

BirdAh yes, often when away we will do our utmost to pull a few birds. Trapping is a long tradition in this all male environment. Here we can see one of the first of the many. Unfortunately this one was a bit of a tease and was playing hard to get. However we persevere.

BlencarthaThe temperature drops at three thousand feet quite considerably. Here some of the boys have reahed the top of Blencartha (Northern Lakes), also known as Hogs Back. Phil has put on his skin tight hairy base layer over which he wears this season's thicker than normal vest. The rest of the lads make do with their more troublesome fleeces!
