Golden Sierra Fellowship

THE GSF

Chris and Superlarry"Larry you really do look sexy" says Chris trying to cover his excitement (with his hands by the look of it!) " I think it must be those red socks". Larry replies "I am Super Limpet, and have no fear of heights, especially with my fashionable sun glasses on". Chris walks quickly away hoping nobody has noticed him talking to this odd boy.

Chris BagPathfinder tries the age old Wilkins family tradition of "Bagwaggling" to help him find his way home. It is a bit like dowsing but not as cool. I know there is not much written here, but what else is there to say? No really, what else could possibly be said!

Langdale GroupSome of the group take a well earned rest before tackling the badly named "Easy Gully'. In the background you can see Jack's Rake where, in later years, Limpet managed to tear his brand new Ron Hills. A favourite short walk of the Fellowship starts at the Sticklebarn Inn (by the New Dungeon Ghyll) and finishes via Jack's Rake or Easy Gully at Pavey Ark. Very Nice.

Larry CameraLack of success with the birds mean some members of the group resort to desperate measures - obviously the local sheep knew we were coming and have taken refuge in their barns. This leaves this vulnerable wild Olympus Mju as easy prey.

No NameHere we can see the boys have been joined by Mr S Stallone and his famous headband for one of the Great Guru "Bally's" rare question and answer sessions. We can see he is sitting on his Holy OS Map to allow him to draw extra energy from the hills and mountains. Bally claims this brings him closer to his god. Oh come on, at least it beats "....and here is another picture of some of the boys on another walk in the mountains!" - doesn't it?
